browser.bookmarks.autoexporthtml in 27.2.1 not working?

Postby tommy_k » Sun, 09 Jul 2017, 20:54

I imagine this is in search somewhere but I think the dots even when quoting "browser.bookmarks.autoExportHTML" causes the individual terms to show in results so am having a hard time finding the answer.

in pm 25.x that about:config option when true caused a bookmarks.html file to be created upon exit. now that I'm using 27.2.1 what it looks like might be happening is it's creating a "bookmarks.html" dir which presumably blocks pm from creating the file? that dir is always empty afaik.

with pm closed I deleted that dir, restarted, exited and again no bookmarks.html file but rather a bookmarks.html dir. I thought maybe it was changed such that the dir was supposed to be getting bookmarks*.html files but so far I keeping finding the dir empty.

I hope this will be fixed in Pale Moon 27.5, see Issue #1230.

PS: Current stable release is 27.3.0 and 27.4.0 is expected next week, so you better update in time.
Here are the add-ons I made in a spare time. That was fun!
