The previous AUR package for these builds has been replaced by palemoon-unstable.

EDIT: Guess that's not going to fucking happen... palemoon-unstable-bin is it.

Beginning with today's unstable build (2018-03-30), the 64-bit unstable Linux builds are being compiled on a new machine in a similar (but not package-for-package identical) environment. While there shouldn't be any difference in the build environment that would cause issues, please do report if you encounter any stability issues or (particularly on older distros) compatibility problems.

Any idea when the unstable builds will be switching over to the newly-rebased source code?

When we decide to do it.. There are still a few blockers before it can be responsibly given to those living on the edge.

Even then one should not expect the mature stability and low risk Tycho unstables we all have come to enjoy.

It can eat your profile and even if things go well you won't be able to go back.. Another one way profile migration condition will be in effect much like 26 to 27.

No one who isn't expecting to have their data chewed up, grandmother to spontaneously catch fire or have their gold fish start emitting ridiculous amounts of high energy gamma radiation should be on the unstable channel regardless of operating system.
