Please check if "oxygen-gtk" is used for GTK 2 theme.
It crashes at the timing of menu display.

oxygen-dtk doesn't crash PM 27.0.1, but it does crash PM 26.5.0. With 27.0.1, the menus don't display properly. They are transparent and unreadable. This seems to be specific to PM, I haven't yet found any other apps that do this.

This is my problem but it finishes immediately.

Both transparent menus and crashes are caused by the same thing. If you have transparent menus, then it may also crash in the future.
This is a known bug in oxygen-gtk (not a bug in Pale Moon!). There is an update available for oxygen-gtk that works around this problem for Pale Moon by adding it to the list of known application that need the workaround in the engine (all mozilla-based applications are affected) but plenty of Linux distros have not yet updated to it.
