Bottom Status Bar "Fade"

PM v26.2 and prev versions Linux and XP
Ubuntu 14.04 Celeron 2core @native HDMI 1080P (16:9)
XP Home 2x64AMD 1280x1024 (4:3)

Bottom status bar with Noscript, Ghostery, Disconnect icons in lower right corner along with triangular hash mark for extending window size. Ever 3-4 weeks after reinstalling PM, Icons suddenly switch to the far left lower corner along with the window extension button. The icons will sometimes disappear and have to be rediscovered in the "Customize Tool Bar" utility. Something is corrupted and regularly breaks in the bottom status bar "Customize" controls. This happens on both Linux and WinXP. A minor annoyance and easily repaired but perhaps may be an indication or result of hidden problems. Perhaps there is a setting in about:config or some other adjustment that could correct this problem.

PM v26.2.1 on Windows 7 Premium SP1

Haven't had any problems like this at all with NoScript, Self-Destructing Cookies, Form History Control, - + Zoom Controls and PM Progress Bar all located to the RIGHT-SIDE of the Status Bar (btw, I have "status text" located on left side of Status Bar).

The problem would not appear to be restricted to "Linux" since OP mentions the issue also occurs in WinXP even though this is the board we are in .

There are a lot of recent topics on the subject of compatibility issues regarding Ghostery with Pale Moon just one topic of which it is discussed HERE that it appears Ghostery may be causing issues with add-on button problems for example.

You might try disabling Ghostery and maybe instead go with an alternative like Disconnect or uBlock etc for a while to see if this addresses your problem.
