Suspicious activity was detected

Post by troypulk » 2016-04-06, 03:53

This web site: http://www.militarycampgrounds.us/ says this when I go to it.
Suspicious activity was detected as originating from this IP 28.113.91.000 address.
Which is my IP address (I change it for this post) I have been here many times before with no problems, right now I'm using PM 26.2.0 (x64)

I was using ABL and Noscript at first and the page worked just fine then after a while I was setting Noscript to temporary allow and I also disabled ABL.

Then all of the sudden the web page displayed the Suspicious activity.

What could cause this?

Thanks

Very odd, using PM 26.2.0 (x86) on Windows 7 and doing exactly what you've done (temporarily allowing NoScript and disabling ABL for the same website) and I do not have a similar issue.

Try rebooting.

I just checked and this happens on all four web browsers that I have and my wifes Win 8.1 as well.

I'm thinking this web site has installed some type of firewall and has blocked my IP address.

Possibly your ISP is also used by spammers or some such?

This is something where you have to get in touch with the webmaster, since it seems that they have banned your IP.

The webmaster e-mailed me back and said I had one too many failed login attempts, he removed the block.
