Ignore Subthread Filter

Firstly, my apologies if this is duplicated - something went wrong as I posted my first message and it doesn't seem to be showing up. Thunderbird has a longstanding bug whereby the "Ignore Subthread" filter item is broken - the details are here:-

I (and others) found this bug very irritating, but Mozilla didn't appear to care as the bug was not even adopted after a couple of years. Is there any possibility that this might be rectified in FossaMail? I've switched over today and am enjoying it so far - thanks for the 64 bit alternative.
