I deleted a POP mail account, but the POP inbox folder still existed on my computer. Seems like such remnants should be deleted automatically, especially since there is no apparent way to access the mail contents of a deleted mail account. Dark_Moon instructed me which folders to delete, which in my case seemed prudent because I had a trojan in one of me emails, and three antivirus programs could not remove it.
