Feature Idea: Separate Icons for Mail and Calendar

Unread post by CharmCityCrab » 2015-12-18, 20:37

Though it is simple enough to click into Fossa Mail and tab open the calendar or tab back to mail from calendar if the calendar was what one last viewed, it occurs to me that some might enjoy being able to have separate mail and calendar icons on their desktop.

Each icon would open the Fossa Mail with Lightning app, but open it directly to whatever the icon says-"FossaMail" or "FossaCalendar". Once within it, one could still navigate back and forth as per usual. It wouldn't be separating the two programs, they'd be one program. It's just be an alternative method of navigating.

In theory, support might be added if it doesn't already exist to run mail and calendar as separate windows with their own task bar rectangles, but that's probably more tricky coding wise.

Calendar is part of an extension to the program. the core program as a result won't have command-line parameters or other way to launch a component that is not part of it.
