[Solved] Lightning in FossaMail 25.1.7 disabled?

Hi. I just downloaded FossaMail 25.1.7 (x64) and in the add-on section it shows lighting 4.0.2 as disabled and not compatible.
Is there any lighting add-on available for FossaMail? Thanks!


Ok I see the link to download the lightning add-on.. once I download it.. how do it get it into FossaMail?

Did you install the right version?
The 64bit version for x64 Fossa Mail.

Ok when I said that it had lightning disabled I hadn't actually downloaded lightning. I just downloaded Fossamail and it came with lightning disabled like that.
So I removed the disabled lightning extension.

Then i saw the download links for lightning next to fossamail download links on fosshub. Then I think I may have accidently downloaded the 32 bit lightning add-on first. It did nothing though. So then I downloaded the 64 bit lightning and this did nothing ... it does not incorporate itself into FossaMail.

Do I need to do anything with it once it's downloaded? I clicked it and I dont see anything happening in the Fossamail add-on/extension section.

Also, separately, can I run the 32 bit version of FossaMail on windows 8.1 64bit? Is one better than the other.. does it matter? Thanks.

You only need to download the addon, open your addon manager in Fossa Mail and install the addon with drag&drop.

Sure you can run the 32bit Fossa Mail in your 64bit Windows. Only vice versa didn't work.

I got a message saying Lightning not compatible with Fossa Mail 28.1.8 (x64)
What should I do?
