Is there a (relatively safe and) easy way to convert from Seamonkey Mail to Fossamail? Does it require a jump to TB in the middle?
I apologize if this is an old discussion. I've reached the end of my patience with SM, memory leaking and really laggy response. It's time to try another mail client.

Re: Conversion from Seamonkey
You shouldn't need Thunderbird as an intermediate step.
The easiest and most complete way would likely be to use the import/export tools

install in seamonkey, export, install in fossamail, import -- and that should be all

Sweet! Thank you.
Can I assume that the export is non-destructive so I can revert if I get into trouble (or if I want to run in parallel)?
