Fossamail vs Thunderbird chart

Post by danielson » 2014-08-07, 01:24

Did a Google search (to no avail), wondering what makes Fossamail different from Thunderbird.
Is there a chart somewhere that shows the differences?

Fossamail is currently mostly a courtesy (optimized) rebuild of Thunderbird - for people who do not wish to use a Mozilla product. Practically, the main difference is that FossaMail is available in a 32-bit and a 64-bit version. Besides that, there are a couple of default settings for FossaMail that are different from Thunderbird's defaults (for example: FossaMail by default doesn't show the tab bar when only one tab is displayed).

I hope that helps. By the way, I received your PM earlier, but for some reason, sending PM's seems to be broken for my account - I'm sorry.

So, TB is basically only 32bit? Didn't know.

(did receive p.m. and have responded).
