Fossamail and Eternal-September news

Win 7 Home Premium 64. Just acquired Fossamail and am loving it, but for one thing: when viewing news from eternal-september it will suddenly start putting up an error message saying that the message has expired (sometimes the post will be briefly visible before the error appears). Once this behaviour starts it applies to all newsgroups and also email: nothing is readable and the only recourse is to close Fossamail and restart it. Any ideas?

Hmm, I'm experiencing the same thing on TB 24.6, which I've just upgraded from TB 2, so not just a Fossamail problem.

Fossamail is currently mostly a courtesy (optimized) rebuild of Thunderbird - for people who do not wish to use a Mozilla product.
These kinds of problems would be best reported on https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/ as a Thunderbird bug, so the Thunderbird team can address it.
