Is there an easy way to migrate back to Thunderbird?

Hello. I've been using fossamail for a couple of years now, and completely deleted my Thunderbird a long time ago. I'm hoping there is an easy way to migrate back, as it's probably the best option since fossamail is being discontinued. I tried manually migrating the profile folder and the program simply won't open. By moving the contents inside the profile folder, and putting it in the default Thunderbird profile folder, I can get the add-ons to move over but nothing else. How should I actually be migrating things, can I preserve my filters, folders, and accounts or do I need to move a bunch of things over separately?

You should be able to simply copy across the profile contents from FossaMail to Thunderbird.

Thanks, that's exactly what I did the first time. After your post, I deleted all the Thunderbird files, reinstalled Thunderbird, and repeated the process. This time it seems to have worked. The only thing I did differently was after I uninstalled Thunderbird, in addition to deleting the files from the roaming folder in AppData, I also deleted the Thunderbird folder from the local folder, inside AppData. Not sure if that's what made it work this time, or whether my computer was just being uncooperative the first time. Everything seems to be working now. The user interface looks slightly off, but I think that's just Thunderbird.
