Doing some testing and noticed on new install that FossaMail keeps email marked as unread after being opened and read. Suggestions on how to correct? Thanks

Under options, please check the settings under display -> tab "advanced" for the way you prefer messages to be marked upon display.

edit>preferences>display tab reading checked auto mark as read and checked immediately on display.

So, is this solved now? it's not entirely clear if you are saying that the boxes were already checked, or if you checked them?

mark as solved . I had to check them as they were not done on move from Icedove/Thunderbird.

Should it not be Tools>Options>Advanced>Reading and Display?
I don't have any "Preferences" in the Edit menu.
