Stylish editor problem

I'm using Stylish 2.07 in FM 38.0.0 64 bit. Every time I use the Stylish editor, I need to reset the extensions.stylish.editorWindowPersist key in about:config or the editor doesn't open. This doesn't happen in any other software I use, all with the same version of Stylish, including SeaMonkey, Thunderbird, Firefox, or Pale Moon.

The problem and solution described at Github is the same as what I am experiencing, but the cause is different since I'm not minimizing the edit window. I'll have to check the userstyles forum. Thx.
