I run fossamail on Linux but thunderbird on Windows because fossamail is not available for XP.
Recently, I lost all mail since 2008 on T-bird, but I can read it on Linux fossamail.
Is there some way I can copy the actual messages to Windows T-bird?
Ask me anything!

It is fairly simple to EXPORT your Address List to a Tab Delimited or CSV file and save it in a xxx.TXR format.
You should then be able to import that file into your other eMail client.

Try copying the Mail and Imapmail folders from your Linux profile to the windows profile. You might have to recreate the accounts in Thunderbird first.
