Any recommended addon/ about:config optimizations for FM?

I have used PM for a number of years and feel very comfortable with it. I have been backing up my profiles and prefs.js for years.

However, I am trying to migrate from Opera (v12.16) which to me seems so easy to use. I have never been a Thunderbird fan by comparison. I recently re-installed Fossamail, which I've had set as a backup client for a year or so, and was pleasantly surprised by the ease of setup.

What I don't know, however are the ins and outs of FM's about:config settings. Are there any hidden options that are recommended? Another question, since the browser is based on PM, do I need to install my usual PM addons for privacy, such as Noscript? Any advice is appreciated.

You don't need Noscript because execution of Javascript in email contents is already disabled.

In addition, even though Fossamail is a Pale Moon based application, it's still a different application (from an identification POV) with a different set of functionality than a browser, so most browser addons are specific to the browser.
