Where to load langpacks ?

Unread post by JujuLand » 2021-11-22, 20:42

Hi,

I use Xubuntu 18.04, and palemoon 28.16.0-1
I had made this computer for an person which prefers english language.
Now, as she bought a new computer, I transform the old computer and I want to install fr langpack.

Unfortunately, when I try to download and install the langpack, on the Language pack page, I have the link :
https://addons.palemoon.org/addon/pm-langpack-fr/
On this page, I have just a button at the bottom of the page which says : 'Upgrade Palemoon' (curious ?) which has the link: http://palemoon.org/

So impossible to load and install the langpack.
I must say that I have the same problem with all the palemoon extensions !!!

What is the matter ?
Where do I fail ?

Thanks
A+

You're using an extremely old version of Pale Moon. upgrade to the latest and you should be able to install langpacks.

Yes, I saw that, and an apt dist-upgrade makes the job.
Thanks

On a related note, Mozilla today declassified over 110 previously-fixed security bugs, making the details and tests/proofs-of-concept available to the public (including malicious people). So if you're still on an old version, Update Now™!
