Daher sind alle Shortcuts in den Menüs fehlerhaft. Dort steht überall <Shift>+<Umschaltaste> was zweimal das Gleiche ist.

If given the choice, I'd prefer to keep <shift> and discard <umschalttaste> since they are pretty much in equal use.

I never noticed this as I always used the EN version. I'll check it.

Wo genau finde ich denn diese fehlerhaften Shortcuts? Habe mir eben die aktuelle portable PM 32-bit Version installiert und eingedeutscht, sehe aber in den Menüs ohnehin nur Shortcuts mit "Shift" und nicht "Umschalttaste".

Hmm, ich hatte das auf der Arbeit (wobei mir gerade einfällt, dass es sein kann, dass ich dort nicht die neuste Version habe), die falschen Bezeichnungen waren vor allem im Menü "Tools" auffällig. Ich schau morgen noch mal ob es die aktuelle Veriosn ist.

Ich hab die deutsche Übersetzung installiert, über den PaleMoon Language Switcher. Dort sind diese falschen Übersetzungen im Menü "Chronik", "Extras" und Untermenüs

Ich habe deinen ersten post so verstanden, dass die Tastaturbefehle für die Umschalttaste in den Menüs auf englisch und deutsch zu sehen sind, also doppelt: <Shift>+<Umschaltaste>

Im portablen Pale Moon finde ich so eine Verdopplung aber nicht. Mir fällt dort allerdings auf, dass die Tastaturbefehle nicht übersetzt und beim Englischen belassen wurden.

No you misunderstood, the translation from "shift+ctrl+x" in the menus is "shift+umschalttaste+x" (x= any key).

So it seems that the translation of <ctrl> is <umschalttaste> and <shift> is not translated. But the translation of <ctrl> should be <strg> and if you want translate <shift> it should be <umschalttase> or short <umsch>, but many people know the english name <shift>

Sorry, kann dein Problem nicht nachvollziehen. In PM 27.6.0 mit dem entsprechenden deutschen Sprachpaket sieht's bei mir so aus (PM auf dem Rechner + portabel, Windows, 32-bit):

I finally found what the problem is. This will be fixed in the next version of German language pack.

Sorry, I thought it is just a problem of the translation. So all involved people should understand it. But it seems it isn't.

I also have to add, that I am really happy that we have this Browser alternative and thank you to all who made this possible!

How can I use this?
The links (https://github.com/JustOff/pale-moon-lo ... RC1/de.xpi) are dead and I am not able to install it in another way.

27.7.0 RC1 is already out of date, the current beta is here.
