At the install no author is listed. Because a lot of guys help translating i would suggest to just add "Pale Moon Community" as author.
So new users see the translation is official.

Also i'm listed twice in the german translation. Once as ravenGER and once as Mirko Bressler. The latest is enough :D

Else look good so far

Polish has some shortcomings in comparison with the translation of CrowdIn.
Eg. Does not have a whole line 'downloadsCompleteMsg' file pl \ browser \ chrome \ pl \ locale \ browser \ downloads \ downloads.properties.

Almost a month passed until you catch it ;) Fixed.

It seems you have confused, there are two downloads.properties files and all strings are in place.

I tried Japanese 1st, but because it was too difficult I changed to Chinese (Simplified).
Everything seems ok. I had just one small problem, I couldn't manage how to get back to English as default... Couldn't log here either, so, I used my favorite reserve browser, Pale Moon 27.02. to make translation and it went smoothly. btw, a very interesting language... f.e. I got 'A chicken falls in the soup' ...Block pop-up windows, I think.

A big, important and good job was done. I could not contribute with anything this time, but... :)
Thanks!

I'd like to share the first after release beta build. It includes new 100% translated Korean locale (thanks to nuverxplus) and also consists XPI for all languages that were ever updated beginning from the start of translation at CrowdIn.

:!: Please note that new strings were added to the project (related to upcoming 27.1.0), so all locales should be updated once again.

And as usual: thanks all for feedback and contributions, new participants are always welcomed!

[language].xpi files (from https://github.com/JustOff/pale-moon-lo ... n/releases and http://www.palemoon.org/langpacks.shtml) contain differences (all files of type *.dtd, 2x [language].manifest, install.rdf...) - line breaks (0x0D 0x0A vs. (only) 0x0A).
Do you think it would be possible to unite all?

Thank you.

Sorry, but I see no reasons why it can bother anyone.

Removing unnecessary settings for comparison (local files vs. [language].xpi files elsewhere).
It was just an opinion.

I think the files should be identical (including their size, without additional modifications...).

But the decision is not up to me...

Problem with the number of version last language pack

@JustOff:

If I go on https://github.com/JustOff/pale-moon-lo ... n/releases to download the latest version of the language pack, I am misled by the numbering (which is not clear to me).

This latest version of the language pack, 27.0.0_RC16 is not for my latest Pale Moon version, 27.0.3? I'm confused, I thought instead... :? "I have installed a version of "too new"?

For me, the language pack should have share with the numbering, not 27.0 RC 16, but 27.1 RC 1.

Sorry for my bad english.

The link above is only for beta versions of language packs. You should always use the official ones: http://www.palemoon.org/langpacks.shtml.

Additionally, JustOff you need to learn how nsIVersionComparator evaluates version numbers. Toolkit version numbers CAN be a bit unintuitive. Underscores are something you shouldn't use dashes either. Stick with 0-9 a b it is just safer that way.

I know how it works for at least 10 years and I don't use underscores or dashes.

Today I've built next beta versions of language packs. Korean is now 100% verified (thanks to nuverxplus), English (United Kingdom) is reached 97% (thanks to Lootyhoof) and there have been other updates.

:!: To the attention for translators: German, Hungarian, Spanish (Argentina) and Japanese locales should be updated to reflect the upcoming 27.1 release.
