Pale Moon forum

Their site claims the plugin can't be installed because it isn't signed. I have it installed, but it just doesn't work.
I know this is really an issue at their end, but any idea what PM does that breaks the plugin?

"PS Palemoon users who were using the extension version of FB Purity, need to switch to the Greasemonkey script version of FBP, as the extension version is no longer compatible with Palemoon. Palemoon is not an officially supported browser, so I can’t offer help with that."

Has anyone TRIED the GreaseMonkey version successfully?

Nothing happens with GM+FBP GM script. Yes, I did uninstall the addon version.

It just looks like FBP is another plugin lost to PaleMoon incompatibility.

I use FBP with GM. Works fine.

Nope, x86, but I don't think there'd be any binary or architecture differences for this.

Retested, still nothing. Just as much nothing as installing the FF plugin.

I had been using the last version of FB Purity compatible with Pale Moon, but I disabled it and gave the Greasemonkey script a try. It seems to work fine. I'm using Pale Moon x64 with Greasemonkey 3.4, the "fork" branch from here.

You have a version of FB Purity plug in that still works? What version is that?

For me, one day it just disappeared from my FB page.

Edit2: Greasemonkey fork looks like it works, but I can't access the FBP options. Click on it does nothing.

I have extension version 13.2.3. When I updated to the next version it stopped working. Since I use two different computers I just pulled the old version from the other computer to restore it. The Greasemonkey version works for me, though. I can get in the options, no problem.

I can't find any old versions on the net (except a really old one on Mozilla's page). Any chance you can attached that version to a post here?

Here's the old version. I'm doubtful it will work for you considering the other problems you've been having. You might have to reset some settings or even make a new profile.

v9.3.2.1 from Mozilla's page actually also provides SOME functionality. It's just very out of date.

Whatever went wrong, it was definitely recent.

FBP Greasemonkey version works fine here, too. There is a new Greasmonkey version for Pale Moon and it works fine: viewtopic.php?f=46&t=9501

F.B. Purity [v13.4.2] updated yesterday and now no longer works

Works fine here. You need to use the script version of FBP (the extension doesn't work). I'm using the Pale Moon compatible Greasemonkey 3.6, here. Also check the Troubleshooting section.

I've never managed to make that work. At worst nothing happens, at best I get the FBP menu at the top and a few other refinements, but none of the FBP stuff is accessible or functional.
No idea why it would work for some but not others.

nope nothing works did what you said and read the notes. not sure if i had another plugin alongside it and that made it work but i removed everything to install the new update

Try again by uninstalling everything: uninstall all Greasemonkey scripts, uninstall Greasemonkey, fully clear Pale Moon cache and cookies, close Pale Moon, delete the gm_scripts folder (located in your Pale Moon profile folder), reinstall this Greasemonkey, restart Pale Moon, then install this FBP.

got to many scripts to remove to do this and i use profile manager so dont want to lose my profiles i have set up
