F.B. Purity plugin no longer works

got to many scripts to remove to do this and i use profile manager so dont want to lose my profiles i have set up

We've received a request from the FBP developer not to post or re-post the FBP extension on our forum. Please respect the author's copyright and wishes in that respect and do not post any other versions of the extension on this forum. Their licensing does not allow it.

just seen this sorry for asking on the forum. i asked him on his fb page and he said i would have to ask pale moon about it as he wasnt doing it for pale moon.

Sorry, our hands are bound here.
We can't do anything to this extension because of their licensing.

If they choose not to support us, then there simply will be no FB Purity for Pale Moon if the published versions of it are incompatible.

Considering the contact not too long ago about enforcing their rights and specifically refusing to have derivatives (or even old versions) up (and willing to take legal action to enforce it), I'd say you can be pretty sure they will not change their licensing.

You can still ask, of course -- kindly, if you will, and as a huge favor to our community.

That's strange. Something else must be going on. There's an extensive FAQ at their webpage with uninstall/options reset instructions which might help (Click "Import settings" at the FBP options screen, then enter the word "Reset" (without quotes) and click OK. Your settings should be reset).

There's also the Social Fixer alternative (available as a user script, too).

Tried the add-on, uBlock Origin is blocking it. Namely the settings option.

Would this show up in the logger?

Haven't used Social Fixer in quite some time but gave a go now at both the extension and the user script and neither was blocked by uBlock, I could see all options. Perhaps you have a non-default, strict option/filter list enabled that's blocking it? I guess it should appear in the logger but I'm not sure what's causing this in your setup.

I lost my grease monkey and can't reinstall because ff has updated and the beta version isn't working with certain scripts

Stopped using social fixer as he stopped the unfriend and I use that due to playing a certain game it keeps track of everything for me

Greasemonkey for Pale Moon

Tried this again today. I actually have the FBP buttons now on Facebook, but clicking the FBP buttons does nothing.
I cannot figure out what is flaky about the GreaseMonkey version.

Are you using the latest Greasemonkey fork (3.7.1)? Works fine over here with that one.
