There has to be something blocking your access.
I have no problems, other than waiting for the site to finish loading before I can open an e-mail. It doesn't take that long, either.

Any advice I can give you is to try a New Profile, your old one must've been corrupted. We sometimes tweedle with the settings and forget what we've changed, another mistake.
I have completely uninstalled everything. Started over fresh. Deleted everything. And still have the issue.
I didn't change any settings. Logged in and it was fine. Went back about a hour later and haven't been able to open a email since. The settings hadn't been changed in all the years I had Pale Moon or Outlook installed.

Other people are having this issue also...so are all their profile's corrupted?
And the issue is only associated with Pale Moon and not any other browser.

A New Profile is merely one of the many solutions you can take to solve this problem.

I've been going back to Outlook since this topic started and I still can use it as normal. If it's working fine for me, it should be working fine for you, unless something is impeding your usage. The mystery is what and what can we do to fix it.

Edit: Type in about:config, and on the "search" type "outlook."(Without quotes)
Double-click on the string or right-click "Modify."
Copy-paste the string value here.

Mine looks like this: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:28.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/28.0 (Pale Moon)

Edit 2: I got on my laptop and tried Outlook, and it worked fine as well.
There was a problem, where the tab was refreshing repeatedly for short time, then it stopped, but the e-mail client worked well without any problems.(I believe that it was just gathering data, nothing wrong with that) (Also, because the desktop is connected directly to the modem/router and the laptop is using Wi-Fi, could be the reason for the refreshes.)

It may be more accurate to say that others had this issue. Since I have updated Ino longer have any issue using Outlook.com and I don't see others having it either.

You ask for help, we suggest trying a new profile, instead you keep uninstalling and reinstalling which no one has recommended. Its also been recommended that you use FireIE but you seemed to ignore that advice too. Seems that you are correct, we are unable to help you, but it's not from a lack of trying.

Well, now I am seeing it the desktop, the little reloading issue. It's annoys me until it stops, I'll have to stop auto-refresh.

I never stated that I keep installing and uninstalling. I uninstalled and reinstalled before I even posted for help.

You are assuming I am ignoring advice. Again did I state anywhere that I hadn't tried the FireIE?

Have you tried a New Profile?
Assuming that you cleaned "everything" being the folder in the C:\Users\[Your Computer Name]\AppData\Roaming\Moonchild Productions\Pale Moon\Profiles
I wouldn't be 100% sure why uninstalling doesn't clean the Profile folder, but it's possible.

I did create a new profile.
But somewhat confused as I've never done that before.
How do you switch between the two profiles?
Am I having a duh senior moment or just didn't have enough coffee yet?

Anything is possible, I guess.
I would think uninstalling it completely would clean the profile but maybe it didn't.

I checked my Profile Folder and I have 3 entries, 2 which shouldn't exist. C:\Users\[Your Computer Name]\AppData\Roaming\Moonchild Productions\Pale Moon\Profiles
Right-click on a shortcut and select "Properties."
As the image below, you place a "-P" next to your .exe string, just one space separating them.

Open the browser like normal and it gives you the Profile selection.

I hear you. I'm having a bad day as it is. Gastritis giving me extreme stomach pains waking me up early. To top it off, we have an Extreme Alert, unlike the other alerts. The alert is the same, Tornado and Flood watches, but this is the first time it says "Extreme Alert." So, I am worried a bit.

I will do that and then I have to back away from the computer for awhile.
IV of coffee is in order.

Stay safe...that must be so scary. Feel better.

Will update you after I've carried all that out and see how that goes.
Thanks.

So the new profile it set and I've launched Pale Moon using it and still have the same issue.

This is just crazy....their has to be some link between why Outlook and Pale Moon are not playing nice.

Asking for help from Microsoft is useless. grrrr.

See if my image matches with your settings.
Right-click a white area and select "View Page Info."

Well, I tried a New Profile as well, yet no problems there either other than the reloading error.
I'm getting stumped.

Make sure that your antivirus and/or firewall allow Palemoon, they could be blocking something. Malware could be another issue with computers.

Sure, everything leads to "Why does it not work on Palemoon but it does on Chrome?"
Like I ask myself, why does it work for me, Moonchild, and x-15a2? Cartel hasn't given word, either.

Outside help: Uninstalling it with a deeper scanning engine like Iobit Uninstaller, using its Powerful Scan to remove obfuscated entries.

Edit: Try about:permissions

Okay permissions are exactly the same.

Will give the Iobit Uninstaller a try and see what results that has.

megaman......

Success. I can now open all emails and folders in Outlook using PaleMoon.

Brilliant suggestion.

Iobit found two files that needed to be deleted after then did the uninstall.

Thank you for your time and your patience.
:coffee: and off to watch the race and hockey.

Glad that it worked.
I got myself some coffee, too. What a way to start the day.

Simply put [Solved] on the title. :coffee:

Re: [Unsolved][Solved]Outlook.com Issue after update

Well the issue is now unsolved.

Everything worked perfectly yesterday. Launched PaleMoon this morning and went/attempted to go on Outlook.com and the same issue is back. Grrr

Celebrated way too early.

So I did the normal routine...disabled all the add-ons. I only had 3 (Blur and AdBlock) and a appearance theme. That didn't fix it. Restarted it with those disabled.

Still not working. This is just crazy.

I created a new profile both in Pale Moon and Outlook to see if this would change things.

UPDATE:

My original Outlook account was a Hotmail account that was changed to a msn.com account when they did away with Hotmail.
The new profile is a Outlook.com account and I was hoping that would make a different.

No...the issue is affecting both the Outlook and Msn account. grrr.

The issue seems to not reside within Palemoon, it has to be an outside source.
Once again, it could be malware. You might have to take some time to scan for a virus, spyware, etc.(Whatever is clinging onto the browser is the culprit. You've experienced this when you uninstalled the browser with Iobit Uninstaller.)

About that, what are your plugins?

Moonchild/Matt/Anyone with intellect on this matter, what can you make of the console in the Element Inspector? Anything lying there that can solve the problem?
Off-topic:
I remember using Hotmail, it was plain and nicely laid-out. The problem doesn't reside with us, since a friend of mine(that only uses Firefox) also was able to access the site normally and also experienced the reloading annoyance, annoyed him as well.

Just a quick reply.

The plugins are Blur and AdBlock. I removed those and restarted PM and still have the issue. That was my first thought as I know from past issues that extensions can cause glitches.

Antivirus shows no virus, spyware. It ran this morning.
MalwareBytes and SuperAntiSpyware are picking up nothing other than a few tracking cookies. These were ran this morning also. I complete scan on both of those.
