Pale Moon (Not responding)

Love the browser but whenever I start up a few seconds in when stuff is still loading it will, for 3-10 seconds sort space out and say Pale Moon is not responding.

Not a serious issue or anything but a minor inconvenience and I was wondering if anyone knew how to rectify it.

I'm using Windows 7 64 bit and Pale Moon Version: 25.4.0 (x64)

EDIT: Restarting without add-ons hasn't helped.

Welcome to the forum!

Maybe a AV Programm make here problems.

How did you start without addons? Just disabling it or usw a new profile?

I did the restart without add-ons function. Should I disable everything. Maybe a fresh install?

I imported all my add-ons and plugins and all that stuff from my Firefox install.

Try defragmenting the computer.

Defragmenting didn't boost up anything today.

eggherd, try the 32bit Pale Moon version and check if this is better.

You don't need to worry about that, my suggestion was to eggherd. You have good knowledge of the browser and you might defragment occasionally.

If he has less than 4 Gigs of RAM, or not, switching versions of Palemoon won't make a difference in the (Not Responding) scenario. Then again, it doesn't hurt to try.

Do you have enough free HDD space? Available RAM? CPU?
