It's crazy, because Pot Player both (X86 and X64) work with MadVR.
For MPC-HC, you need to install the X86 version.
I, personally, don't use MPC-HC anymore, but it's nice to know that tip about the YV12

What? :O Pot Player x64 accepts madVR? Thing is, while I'd like to tinker with madVR plenty, I'm not really willing to move to x86, which means I'll have to wait longer for madVR to go x64 (which I imagine eventually will).

It's x64 already, go for it. It's a recent addition so there might be a few bugs but it should be ok.

Oh, haven't been up to date with madVR so I wasn't aware there was already a x64 build, even if preliminary, but will try.

The x86 version works just fine.
Also, I didn't know that there was a X64, nor worried. Good to know, thank you.
I think our off-topic stuff has become un-welcomed by now, we should try to discuss this part of the topic in the General section. LOL!
I mean, you have everything you need, so you should be fine.

Off-topic:
VLC has never worked in my experience, whether it was directly or through viewtube.

It has worked fine for me. By means of putting the YouTube link directly into the client.
