To reduce wear on my new SSD I have been advised to use RAM for the browser Cache(s)
I am now using the standard installed Palemoon v 12
I believe about:config includes a standard Mozilla option for this.
I fear that a Google search might take me to something obsolete or not applicable to Palemoon.
I would appreciate a little hand-holding or a link that is suitable.
Another possibility might be to use a Ram Disk for both Palemoon cache and perhaps other temporary files that Windows creates with gay abandon.
N.B. The last time I used a RAM disk was to hold copies of floppy disc *.BAT scripts used by DOS 3.32
The only Freeware version I found found so far is
http://memory.dataram.com/products-and- ... re/ramdisk
I would appreciate advice / comments / pro vs. con arguments.
Using 32 bit Palemoon under 64 bit Windows 7 Ultimate with 8 GB RAM
Regards
Alan
