"GO" Button not working on specific webpage

Post by VAXMaster » 2012-05-14, 14:50

I have migrated to Pale Moon on three computers and all exhibit this problem. On the page http://www.geocaching.com/seek/default.aspx, the GO buttons associated with the "by Address:" and "by Postal Code:" searches do nothing. They *do* work in the Firefox installations that I migrated from. Thanks in advance for any insight/tips that anyone may have.

I've just checked the page in the 12.0-release version and the Go buttons do seem to work just fine, and pull up search results as they should.
If you go to Web Developer -> Error console, clear the data found there, and then click the Go button, do you get any error(s) listed and if so, what are they?

Thanks for the quick response-at least now I know I have a problem somewhere. Also, adding on to my OP, this PC is Win7x64 and the other two are running WinXP-SP3. Maybe I have an extension that does not play nice with Pale Moon. I will wait a bit to hear from more of the community.

I began disabling extensions. It seems that HTTPS-Everywhere is the cause.

I guess you'll just have to make an exception for the geocaching site in the add-on, if possible.

Your errors in the error console aren't really a problem, indeed. They certainly wouldn't cause the buttons to stop working.
