Hello, I was working on something that refreshed explorer.exe and suddenly this red bar surrounded the pale moon browser.
Whenever I clicked the red bar it would make an error sound but when I restarted my computer. Ever since then I've never been able to switch between
windows. Not tabs. But completely new pale moon's. The red bar is now only around my taskbar but gone from PM.
any ideas? thanks

I do not get it, but can you open Task Manager and work on it?

A "red bar" is definitely not something that is normal to see in windows, so you have some third party program that is doing something to your running applications. What were you "working on" that "refreshed explorer.exe"? because it sounds fishy

You can temporarily switch windows with ALT+TAB, but the red bar needs to be fixed, more details needed for gathering solutions.
