[Solved] Syncing between Pale Moon and Firefox Nightly
I'd like to test out Firefox Nightly and would like to keep the browsing history between the Nightly and Pale Moon in sync. I understand that Pale Moon uses the older version of sync that Firefox used to use rather than the new one. Because of this difference, is the only way to share the histories between the two to manually copy the appropriate files between the two profiles? Would having the two use the same profiles, whilst making sure the two aren't open at the same time, work?

I wouldn't recommend having the two browsers share the same profile. If you want to sync your browsing history (and bookmarks) between Pale Moon and Firefox, I think your best option is to install the Xmarks Sync add-on.

Does Xmarks really sync browsing history? Their website only mentions bookmarks and open tabs.

I believe it has an option to sync browsing history as well; according to the version history on AMO this feature was introduced with version 3.8.6.
I don't use Xmarks anymore, so I'm not 100% sure about this, but why don't you just install the add-on and find out?

Thanks I've been testing it out the past week and this solution works really well.
