If I were to download X64 is there any way to transfer everything from my X86 version?
Re: Settings/Bookmarks/Addons
Both versions share the same profile.
Your stuff will move to the 64-bit version automatically, you will just have much less plugins available.

Re: Settings/Bookmarks/Addons
Is there a list in the forum of which plugins are available for the X64 and which of the major plugins are NOT available?
Re: Settings/Bookmarks/Addons
Silverlight, Flash, VLC recently has one, Java, and that is about it.twistedvincent wrote:Is there a list in the forum of which plugins are available for the X64 and which of the major plugins are NOT available?
If there any others, I am not aware of these others.
Extensions/add-ons, almost all of them will work, maybe 1 out of 20 might not.
Re: Settings/Bookmarks/Addons
Well, I backed up my profile so if I don't like X64 I can easily go back to X86.

All of your plug-ins will still be there, if you revert.twistedvincent wrote:Well, I backed up my profile so if I don't like X64 I can easily go back to X86.
Think of it as if the plug-ins go invisible when you are using X64, but re-appear on the X32.
Re: Settings/Bookmarks/Addons
Strange, I got everything installed successfully and ran the peacekeeper benchmark tests and X86 beat X64 by quite a bit.

It's not so strange.twistedvincent wrote:Strange, I got everything installed successfully and ran the peacekeeper benchmark tests and X86 beat X64 by quite a bit.

Check point 4 about benchmarking 32-bit vs. 64-bit
