Sometime ago, after an update I guess, the status bar text began showing URLs of past visited pages. Even after a page/tab is closed the URL stays visible.
I like the status bar text showing hovered URLs, etc. but then it returns to show past visited pages.
How can I change that? PLEASE? As you might imagine, it can be a privacy issue to have a closed URL sitting there for all to see.
Thanks,
K

Re: Status Bar - URL History - Turn Off?
Please make sure to check your status bar options (in the application menu under the "options" submenu or in the Tools menu of the menu bar).
In those options, check if you have not inadvertently set a delay on your linkovers or network status to "hide after" a certain amount.
You can also try to re-initialize the status bar functionality by following the instructions in this post.
Also please check if you don't have any other add-ons that may interfere with the proper operation of the status bar functionality. Especially if you started having this issue after upgrading, you may want to restart with all add-ons disabled and see if this solves the issue. If it does, enable them again one by one until the problem reappears, and find out that way which add-on is causing trouble for you.

Thanks Moonchild!
Looks like the re-initialize worked.
Didn't have any delays set on linkovers or network status.
Sincerely appreciate the fast response!!
