Can't connect through Ebates.com

I've noticed similar to this before. Trying to go from E-bates (for coupon/discount) to a shopping site, it appears to be going...then a message saying Pale Moon can't establish a connection to server at gan.doubleclick.net. Is Pale Moon stopping the connection or could it be my MVPS Hosts file or what? This is Pale Moon 9.2 on Windows 7 64bit sp1.

A "can't establish a connection" error means that Pale Moon is unable to contact the stated server.
Since it's a "doubleclick" server, which is a common advertising server, this may be blocked by an ad blocker, anti-ad entries in your hosts file, or similar. Pale Moon itself is certainly not blocking this connection.
