Sync with Firefox

I like Pale Moon, it is very fast and tidy, but I would like to do a period of testing with it before I discard my Cyberfox that I have been using.

In that period of testing I would like to use PM as my main browser but at the same time not lose any new bookmarks if I decide not to continue with it. with that in mind synching with Firefox (I sync Cyberghost with FF) is essential. I have set up the synching but it does not appear to work.

Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong? I only sync bookmarks on all 3 browsers.

I think the answer to your question will be found in this thread: http://forum.palemoon.org/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=5253

If you are only using this for bookmarks, why not just use the backup/restore function?

Yes I can backup and restore once a week and that keeps the bookmarks to within my computer. I had not thought of that, thanks.

Looking at the link you gave it seems as if the sync problem will not be solved short-term.

The sync "problem" will not be solved, period. Pale Moon will not move to Sync 1.5/Firefox Accounts. Syncing with Firefox is not possible and won't be possible. Pale Moon will continue to be compatible with Sync 1.1 only for a number of very good reasons (mainly the security of user data).
