I installed Pale Moon version 9.0.1. After restarting it, Norton Internet Security 2012 reported that it removed a dangerous file called freebl3.dll. After that I couldn't open any new tabs using Pale Moon. I had to add this program to the Norton program exclusions in order to use Pale Moon properly.
I also notice that in the Pale Moon program directory there is a file named freebl3.chk (size 478 bytes) and there are also other files as dll as well as with this extension.
I would appreciate any advice on what to do.

Please report this to Norton: https://submit.symantec.com/false_positive/
Apart from pulling it back out from quarantine, you shouldn't do anything else. the .chk files should be there.
