I've been enjoying Pale Moon x64 without problems except for 1 strange obscure thing. When I adjust the task bar in seemingly any way with flash running, it crashes. At first I thought it was just changing themes that did it, but setting task bar auto-hide on/off would cause the crash when the bottom of the window shifted. This seems to happen 100% of the time with a tab with a flash object open, but not on this page I'm typing with right now, even though there is flash in another tab. I've included the windows crash log, didn't see a log for Pale Moon. Hope this wasn't posted already but the search didn't show me any such thing.

Re: Task bar related crash
I can't come across that situation on the 32-bit version, I'll try the X64 and see if does this to me.
Edit: Sorry, I can't come across the problem. Is there anything that you were doing while this occurred?
It's a Registry error most likely. It's probably not running in Administrator Mode, don't hold me to it.
If a Registry Error repair doesn't solve it, try to add the program to the DEP.

Re: Task bar related crash
I did some controlled tests with/without admin mode running and it seems I was mistaken. It happens on 1 specific page I tend to frequent that is mostly flash objects as well as code built in for rearranging the sizes of the embeds. So this must be a unique conflict involving the resizing on this page. For clarity It's worth noting that I have used this page with almost every version of Firefox from 3 to present with task bar re-sizes and this never happened. Apologies for misleading you megaman. I'm not sure if you're all interested in this kind of obscure troubleshooting, but if so I can provide the page source if that would help.

Re: Task bar related crash
You can see if upgrading to version 9 alleviates this issue, since there were a good number of crash fixes in the underlying Firefox source code.

Re: Task bar related crash
I had actually just noticed the release shortly after posting. Trying it in 9.0.1, it no longer crashes the browser immediately, rather it hangs for a brief moment then crashes the flash embed. I've included the page source as I know it along with the URL if you wish to poke around. I'd advise against bugging the locals though, they can be pretty weird/moody to strangers

Re: Task bar related crash
Well in that case it would be the flash plugin crashing or becoming unstable.
v9 obviously handles the crash better than v8 (it shouldn't lead to an appcrash, since that's the whole point of using the plugin container); unfortunately this isn't really a browser problem anymore now, since the appcrash is avoided with the patches to the Mozilla code for v9, handling the flash crash better and not crashing the browser anymore. There's really not much I can do about flash crashing.
