Unable to install the localization

Unread post by Tarti » 2012-01-09, 12:29

Hello,

First of all please let me apologize for my English skills; I'm French (shame on me?!) :P

I'm using Pale Moon 8 on my Windows 7 64 bits laptop.
I'm experiencing some problems with the French localization XPI provided on the official website. When I click on the link there, nothing happens. Even if I download the file itself and load it using the browser, still nothing happens.
I tried to run Pale Moon with administration rights, but it changed nothing at all.

What am I doing wrong ?

T.

It's possible you have disabled software installations (a language pack is classified the same as an add-on). There are a few other options which may prevent this.

Please check http://kb.mozillazine.org/Unable_to_ins ... _-_Firefox first, and try the solutions there.
