Personas are the same way. They can log in for maybe a couple of hours a month. Mozilla sucks!

and the winner is FB Purity (to clean ads on facebook)
When I install it , the sync doesn't work
When I uninstall it totaly , the sync work

So case is closed for me

And damn FB purity is a fantastic add for FB

Thanks, I'll add a stability warning for this add-on in the blocklist.

Yes, sure, make everything like Google Chrome.
I actually think the current setup is better since nobody can get to your data (Sync servers only store encrypted blobs) unlike Chrome where data is only encrypted on the server (and the server has everything available to decrypt your data).

If Mozilla will retire their current sync servers, I'll have to set up one myself (if budget allows).

I'm in touch with the add-on's dev to see if this sync issue can be solved. Marked WIP.

Oh, that explains the warnings I've been receiving about FB Purity.
I couldn't find out what was wrong, since it wasn't on Mozilla's blocklist and when I click on More Information (in the addons page) it takes me to 'null'. Isn't that a bug by the way? If not, then a different warning for Mozilla's and Moonchild's blocklist would be most useful.

Thanks.

Looks like a fix is in the making and to be released soon.
FB Purity developer wrote: I checked and found scriptify has been updated in the last few days, and the latest version generates extensions that dont interfere with Firefox sync. i've updated the xpi hosted at http://install.fbpurity.com if any of your users want the fixed version, they should clear their browser cache and reinstall via that page.
Once a new version is released that fixes this issue, I'll update the blocklist to restrict warnings only to affected versions of the extension.

Yes, he has this "habit" (out of modesty probably) of improving/fixing the excellent extension without changing the version number. He also offers it as a Greasemonkey script - not sure if you should/could blacklist that, too...?

The dev told me the greasemonkey script is problem-free. The issue is caused by using a script compiler that can take scripts and turn them into standalone extensions. Because of the bug in that compiler, the resulting extension breaks the browser in various ways. The dev should release a new version asap compiled with a fixed compiler (now it's available) and I can update the blocklist accordingly at that time.

Please let me know if you use an updated version (if it has a new version number) if it actually works, so I have some verification.

The FB purity dev just sent me a message that 9.7.0 should fix all problems so the warning will be removed for that version onwards.
