Fx, Pale Moon and migration tool question

Have my new desktop Win 7, 64 bit. :thumbup:

Question. Right now I have Fx version 9.0.1 installed. I know that Pale Moon will have version 9 sometime next month.

If I would install the latest Palemoon 32 bit version 8.* now, would the migration tool work if both browsers have different versions? Or would it be better to wait with installing Pale Moon until January as I prefer to use the migration tool?

It should work fine, there are no major differences in the profile for 9 vs. 8; "downgrading" can be tricky sometimes but the only big hurdle seems to have been 3.6 vs. "next gen"
