:?: Bug

Post by Mark Lee » 2026-05-04, 21:02

Operating system:Windows 11
Browser version:34.2.2
32-bit or 64-bit browser?:64-bit
Problem URL:
Browser theme (if not default):Past Modern Revisited 2.11
Installed add-ons:Adblock 5.0.9, HTTPS Always 5.2.27, Pale Moon Commander 3.01, & uBlock Origin 1.16.6.1
Installed plugins: (about:plugins):VLC, Foxit, & 7-Zip

If possible, please include the output of help->troubleshooting information (as text):N.A.

Version 34.2.2 appears to lock-up when opening a second layer of bookmarks. Reloading the browser software and rebooting the system does not solve the problem. The three-finger salute (Ctrl-Alt-Del) and looking through the Task Manager listing is the only way to cancel the lock-up. Thoughts? Thanks

I too use the Past Modern Revisited 2.11.0 theme for Pale Moon. I also use the Menu Bar as well as the Bookmarks Toolbar. I am using 64 bit linux Pale Moon (34.2.2).

I have five windows (layers as you call them) of bookmarks. None of the lock up. If I click on any bookmark in any window, the window and any subsequent windows, closes and the next page which opens up goes to the site of the bookmark I clicked on. I tried another way to see if my Pale Moon would lock up. This second method used six windows and again, it did not lock up.

But I am not using Windows 11. I am using 64 bit MX Linux 25.1 (Infinity) Xfce linux distro. And the only two extensions I have installed are uBlock Origin 1.16.6.1 and Zoom Label (1.3).
MX Linux 25.1 (Infinity) Xfce w/Pale Moon, Waterfox, Firefox
Linux Debian 13.4 (Trixie) Xfce w/Pale Moon, Waterfox, Firefox
