A foolish uninstall and now reinstallation with problems.

I recently uninstalled both Pale Moon and Basilisk from my Linux Mint system. I regretted that and reinstalled them. I now find that I cannot download anything from github, The connection to https://github.com/JustOff/ca-archive/releases. assets connection just hangs and will not load. I assume that some corruption has occurred.in my files. Help please.

Create a fresh profile and see if it still fails. Open about:profiles from a new tab and create a fresh profile. Keep this profile as it is unchanged for testing future broken sites, it will quickly tell you if the problem is with your main profile setup or a bug with the site or browser.

In addition, you could restart PM in Safe Mode, & see if that changes anything.
