Suppressing massive vector icons
It sometimes happens that, even on a webpage when all resources but the basic HTML have been blocked using µBlock’s advanced mode (globally * * * block or locally example.com * * block), vector icons and buttons will not be blocked, but instead appear to span the whole screen. Site information (Control-I) fails to classify these as pictures at all, which is presumably how they slip past. Two examples will serve. On this anime page with the filter described above, there are giant Twitter, YouTube, Line and Instagram icons beneath the header, before and after the site body. In recent HowToGeek articles with the same filter, a massive button for generating a LLM summary appears between the author information and the article proper, and further below, there is a massive button with the character @. All these massive icons and buttons are worthless if I wish to treat a site as a plaintext document to read; I must scroll past them, and if there are many of them, one can even miss the actual text sandwiched between layers of buttons. How can I suppress these on a per-site basis when I am choosing to view a site stripped down by blocking all resources?

Re: Suppressing massive vector icons
Credit is due to Adoxa for solving this. A cosmetic filter in µBlock, example.com##svg, should clear the giant icons away, possibly after a hard refresh.
