Actually, I don't think it matters how old hardware you have. All it takes is undervolting a CPU a tiny bit too much and you're in a world of untroubleshootable pain.
I guess it's just some weird type of crash similar to the one mentioned being fixed in the last update, and it will just take some luck for Moonchild to eventually nail more of them in future.

Tales like this are why I rejected the idea of underclocking my system manually to reproduce the underclocking (from 1400 to 1100 MHz) which Windows 7’s advanced power settings attained. My goal in underclocking is to preserve my computer by letting it run cooler. Underclocking at the risk of causing bigger problems for my CPU misses the point.

Moonchild, you didn't post the link to the tracker or somerhing where I am supposed to post crash logs. I've just had another and really want to keep reporting these in case there's something to catch onto.

Re: Stored passwords wiped. AGAIN.
Moonchild, would it be possible to add a simple counter in the saved passwords section? It wouldn't have many uses I admit, but right now it could potentially be useful to quickly check whether something happeened to the db. I don't expect partial passwords wipe to happen (it wouldn't make any sense, either the db is ok or it's not), but at this point anythinng is possible I guess.

I would not expect to see any reply to this request, because it doesn't make sense so far.Octopuss wrote: ↑2026-02-09, 10:27Moonchild, would it be possible to add a simple counter in the saved passwords section? "counter" => of what - usage perhaps?
"useful to ... check whether something happened to the db" => nope, because "either the db is ok or it's not".
"simple" => this type of characterization in a feature request is never valid.
The point of software development is for the development team to eat and manage the complexity behind every feature so that users don't have to. There's no consistent relation between how easy something looks in the user interface versus how difficult it was to develop and is to maintain.
In case you're serious, post an image of what the feature should look like. Also a rationale for why it should exist. Include a few-sentence complete description of the big-picture end-goal. If so motivated, include detail of how that might be done, logically speaking. (Some of this discussion probably already exists in various browser forums.) Regardless, developers will choose what is actually implemented to achieve the goal. As is, this request is not actionable.

Counter of saved passwords. I thought it was clear.
