Please check
https://www.palemoon.org/systemrequirements.shtml and make sure the system requirements (including necessary system packages listed under Linux) are met.

Works perfectly fine on antiX for me.
Also, Pale Moon is in the antiX Package Installer - just install it from there, you'll get Steve Pusser's excellent build of Pale Moon, and then apt will keep you updated. If you're on antiX there's no need at all to use the tarball.

Thank you very much!
I found it on the package list, installed it, works fine.
So the original instructions provided by Pale Moon were incorrect.

Is Pusser keeping up antiX builds? Since he apparently vanished from here and stopped updating the Debian 10 edition, I supposed he had retired from the Pale Moon community.

Although I do not use the antiX linux distro, I think Pusser is active on the antiX forum site. If so, I think his username is "stevesr0".

It's possible that the antiX package has support for CPUs that only support instructions up to SSE2. The official Linux builds require AVX.

Yup, works great, and fast updates to keep up with the Pale Moon releases. I don't know that he "vanished" from here so much as he's just doing his thing. As I've said in the past, anytime you need him he's on the MX Linux forum just about every day.

Excellent! Just keep using that version, Steve Pusser takes care of all his MX and antiX users.
