Diagnosing "not redirecting properly"

When Pale Moon says that a site (in this case the one that I am the admin for) is "not redirecting properly", where can I see the detailed sequence of events that led to that error message. Pressing F12 doesn't seem to provide anything helpful. What I basically want is the sequence of HTTP(S) requests (with all parameters) that was deemed impossible, so I can change the site logic to not respond that way in those circumstances.

Something like:

* "https://subsite.example.com/foo/bar", contacting IP 192.0.2.1 port 443, cookies: "bleh=blat" "blotch=botch2", response 302 redirect "https://subsite.example.com/foo/qux?ding=dong". with these headers "..."
* "https://subsite.example.com/foo/qux?ding=dong" IP 192.0.2.1 port 442, cookies: "bleh=blat" "blotch=botch2", response 302 redirect "https://subsite.example.com/foo/qux?ding=dong". with these headers "..."
* Loop detected, redirect cannot complete

Note: As a precaution, the affected site operating mode is only exposed to the LAN while debugging it.

Make sure you have persistent logs enabled in your devtools settings in order to see all HTTP 3XXs in your Network tab. You should be able to see where it's redirecting in each response's Location header.

Indeed. if in devtools setting (the gear) you check "persistent logs" (center column), then the Network tab after that is your friend.
