Operating system: Windows
Browser version: 33.9.0.1
32-bit or 64-bit browser?: 32bit
Problem URL: www.gutshaus-schmakentin.de
Hello,
currently I have a strange problem with Palemoon. In other browsers this doesn't occur.
I have a website from which I am the administrator (www.gutshaus-schmakentin.de). It has got back its original
domain name a month before.
When I opened this website an hour ago, I was brought to a website from the web server owner which said,
that the domain owner hast to be confirmed.
I have done this and a few minutes later in the web servers settings the domain name is reconnected.
But when I try to open the website www.gutshaus-schmakentin.de in Palemoon, I get an error-page
which says, that the page could not be reached because of a network timeout.
I tried some other browsers (Firefox, Seamonkey, Tor) and they have reached the web site without any problem.
Also I have cleared all caches and all chronics, but this hasn't helped.
So it seems, that Palemoon is working different then all other browsers in the area of DNS-resolving.
Where is the problem with Palemoon?
I hope you can help me
Thank you for your reading eye.

Re: DNS-resolving / Palemoon does not open webpage - other browsers do
There is no difference in DNS resolving, but, it is possible that the other browsers you tried are using DoH with an override of the time-to-live making DNS resolution short-lived regardless.
Pale Moon respects time-to-live of DNS records, and will cache DNS lookups internally accordingly if a time-to-live is sent, or using a default value to efficiently cache DNS lookups without one that might be longer-lived than in other browsers.
You can manually clear this cache by going to about:networking in the address bar, then selecting "DNS" on the left and clicking the "clear cache" button.

Thank you Moonchild and Lucio Chiappetti for your answers and the shortcut with about.networking, good to know.
In the meanwhile my Palemoon also shows up with the webpage.
And I have learned something new.
