Browser periodically freezes and unfreezes

This is really strange to me; I have been using PM 33.8.2 for awhile now, and have had these same issues where PM would not respond immediately to input, it was like a 1 second lag just using the browser as normal... So anyway just about an hour ago I updated to the newest PM version... Guess what happened?
Yep, Everything so far is running Smooth again, Zero lag, Snappy Peppy.
I have only tested on a few sites so far, but the major one I tested was Bitchute, where previously it would take ages to load anything and then when starting a vid it would play 1 second then flip back and replay again, all the way. That was so very annoying
Now it's all good! so far.
I have no clue as to the why, since everyone is having the reverse effect
Edit: Just visited X and it's working Perfect.
And Memory and CPU all Nominal.

The site I have been having a problem with is wikitree.com. It certainly does not use "modern" JS. Problems include freezes while scrolling, using radio buttons and other UI interactions. I have not yet monitored the processor load while working this. There was no freezing before the update.

Can't confirm any of the problems you're experiencing. Please post troubleshooting information

After observing PM for a day or so on this, it only happens when you are interacting with the PM UI. Scrolling, editing text or pushing a radio button. The processor load goes from 2 or 3% to about 10% for 3-4 seconds. The UI is completely frozen. A the end of that time, the title bar flashes (Not Responding) along with the cursor showing the hourglass graphic and the close window button flashing red. The amount of time spent in the freeze is increasing as the PM window stays open.

Is there any data in particular that I can supply that would help you to troubleshoot this problem.

This freeze is happening on this forum as I type it. So it appears to be a Pale Moon issue and not a website issue.

This is a no-no, and is well known for corrupting the workings of the browser and profiles.

I suggest uninstalling Pale Moon and removing your old profile, then re-installing PM and make a new profile. And not using NoScript.

Gemmaugr asked you to make a clean new profile and also not to re-install NoScript. Did you do that "before" trying version (33.9.1)? If you just uninstalled NoScript and then tried 33.9.1, then the remnants of NoScript will still cause problems.
