"works" without images with default eMatrix blocks.
Allowing stuff in eMatrix shows only a blank page indeed. (I'm not allowing 127.0.0.1 though)

After clicking on the link, the page opens fo me for a split second and then goes to white colored blank. It seems something is trying to load, but it is too fast for me to read.

The little red book is loaded with a ton of information gathering and telemetry (as evidenced by the console log).
It immediately tries to access your camera, tries to gather detailed networking information on a continuing basis (which fails because Pale Moon doesn't expose the network information Web API), tries to scan localhost ports 9222 (common remote debugger port, trying to backdoor) and 54345 (at the very least, possibly more), and tries to get detailed timings from your visit through the performance API.
The site will blank itself it performance observers are not enabled. if you enable them, it will display (but inevitably dump a ton more data to the site of your visit).

Blocking, xhscdn.com, seems to help.
(I don't know if that mitigates what was mentioned above, nor if blocking that then affects what you can or cannot do on the site?)

Preferences -> Privacy -> tab "Tracking" -> check the box "Enable Performance Observers"
