Pale Moon in Linux won't show email Login's

Dual booting w11 and Ubuntu 24.04. Running Pale Moon 33.8.0 in Ubuntu as my OS. Recently I changed my ssd's and reinstalled W11 and Ubuntu 24.04. Now Pale Moon in Ubuntu will not show my ms email's login's so I can choose which I want to open. Everything is set to remember passwords as before. However if I login then the password gives me all the emails to get password by choosing that email. Is this a MS problem or am I not doing something right?

If you're talking about Outlook then the login form uses some feature not currently available in Pale Moon (because we all know that a login form requires features from 2025... it's not like people have been able to log in sites for the past 30 years).
If you're talking about something else then I don't know because your message is unclear to me.

(You might want to skip to the last paragraph in your situation for the "catch").

I have a Hotmail email account, but I have to use Microsoft's login for Outlook to access my Hotmail emails. The desktop tower computer I am tying this post has a three hard drive bay and also two unused NVME (or whatever they are named) so I can install five hard drives.

Right now I have only two hard drives installed. One is installed with MX Linux 23.6 and the other is installed with linux Debian (12.11). They both are using linux Pale Moon 33.8.0 along with Waterfox and Firefox.

I "never" put two linux distros on one hard drive. Reason being, if something goes wrong with a linux distro on one hard drive, the second drive with a linux distro is basically a backup.

With MX Linux and Debian, I have no problems getting to my Hotmail email account. But I "manually" put my username and password in to get to Hotmail. I never have any browser remember usernames and passwords.

But here is the "catch". Microsoft does not like Pale Moon. And I quickly realized complaining to Microsoft is just "an effort in futility" because MS told me to use their Edge browser.

At least this is how it was for me whether I am using MX Linux or Debian. So I basically have stopped using Pale Moon to access Hotmail and just use Waterfox or Firefox. My preference for Hotmail is Waterfox.

The above is just "food for thought".

Yes it is outlook emails. Say all emails are x and y and z and I type in login for x and it goes to password then all emails x-y-z show and I choose x then password is entered and it opens. Sorry I did not say it at the beginning. Since all other browsers work I figured it was MS messing with Pale Moon again. Just wanted to be sure. Finally my bank accounts are working again So I'll just have to wait for an update to fix it.

I will also add this.

Now Microsoft wants people to always be logged into their Microsoft accounts whether the account is for Outlook or for Hotmail. I keep getting asked to stay "logged in", but I always say, "no".

I know there are settings in my MS account to stop this nagging, but one of my friends did try to stop this nagging. He went into his settings for Outlook and told it to turn off logged in. So he logged out of Outlook.

The problem should have been solved, but it was not. The next time he went to check on his Outlook email account to log in to check his emails, he was surprised to find he was still "already" logged in.

Even when he logged out again, he found the next time he want to check his Outlook emails, he was still logged in again. He checked his settings and it confirmed he was logged out, but it seems MS servers ignore that setting. Complaining to MS did no good. MS gave the stock brush off answer of "we're working on it".

That was six months ago and he is still logged in. He told me never to say "yes" to stay logged in to any MS account because I might find myself in the same (pardon the pun since I'm from the maritime industry).......boat........as he is in. He thinks this "nag" is by design to keep people logged in.

And with AI you can never talk to a live person. When In I press 1 for English I always get someone who can barely speak or comprehend English. However I prefer that person to AI and it is only going to get worse.

Thought I would throw this in since it struck a "music chord" with me.

Since my friend is still logged in to his Microsoft account for Outlook........even when his setting for "logged in" is turned off, his predicament reminds me of a few lyrics from an old Eagles song, titled "Hotel California".

Off-topic:
Unless you're running 'Puppy' (which IS something of an exception, I'll own). I currently have around a dozen Pups all running from a single partition, 'cos they're 'frugal' installs running from individual, uniquely-named directories alongside each other in the same partition. I do have two drives on this HP desktop rig, but the second one is dedicated to music, films, documents, pictures, and a ton of Puppy 'stuff'. Oh, and my entire collection of Puppy-portable packages..... which are 'shared' between & linked-in to every Puppy via custom scripts.

I have Chrome OS-Flex running from an external SSD (plug it into a USB 3.0 port and away ya go, booting from the 'one-time' menu). And shortly I hope to have GhostBSD installed to a 3rd internal SSD I shall soon be adding to the internal hardware.
