Installed add-ons: Default 28.17.0 (disabled)
Installed plugins: (about:plugins): None (I expect I had some stuff installed when escaping from FireFox, but I'm currently in Safe mode (At least, I think I am: THIS version doesn't say so, but it this is an older version, it may be that has long been solved.)
I have given up on getting the test machine to work. So, this is from my actual machine. I told Synaptic to update Pale Moon, but though it recognised what I was looking at and replied by installing a number of files, I am not sure it actually installed CURRENT Pale Moon.
That makes our first step: How to install the appropriate current version?
Once we solve that (something I can't find the documentation for), I hope I will suddenly be able to log in into my Book mark tree.
