Thinkpad X230, i5, Linux Trisquel 64 bit, 8GB RAM, The browser that ships with this OS is Abrowser 64 bit.

If possible, please include the output of help->troubleshooting information (as text):

The browser still continues to crash with these 'segmentation fault (core dumped)'. Youtube is the main culprit, maybe. I say broken record because this has been occuring since way back with PM and also sometimes with Basilisk. I've no idea why these browsers are a problem for this OS. PM continues to be the best browser out there.

I am on YouTube every day and I spend lots of time on YouTube looking at many videos.

I do not experience any crashing problems when using 64 bit Linux Pale Moon 33.7.0 (GTK2) running in any of my three linux 64 bit distros I use on a daily basis and they are: Linux Mint 22.1 (Xia) Xfce, MX Linux 23.6 (Libretto) Xfce, Linux Debian 12.10 (Bookworm) Xfce.

The only extensions I use are: uBlock Origin 1.16.6.0 and Zoom Label (1.3). The only theme I use with linux Pale Moon is Past Modern Revisited (2.10.2).

Decentraleyes is 4 years old and useless. Replace it with deCDN.

Maybe see if disabling hardware acceleration helps?

Preferences | General | Hardware Acceleration -> uncheck (& restart)

You could use strace to get a hint at what the problem may be.
Run strace from a term like example below:

strace /usr/local/palemoon-33.7.0/palemoon --profile /home/kruppt/.moonchild_productions/palemoon/palemoon.33.7.0

Strace followed by full path to the Pale Moon executive followed by the profile flag and then the full path to your profile sub-directory.
Note that if there are any spaces in any of the paths you will need to quote them.
Example:
strace /usr/local/palemoon-33.7.0/palemoon --profile "/home/kruppt/.moonchild productions/pale moon"

I use Trisquel and don't have PM related crashes, but I also don't ever go to youtube.

Some quick thoughts -
- have you tried Pale Moon in a clean new profile? Some of your extensions are old and abandoned and some of your config changes could have an impact
- are you using the default Trisquel 11 Linux kernel 5.15? In Synaptic, if I search 'linux-image', it looks like Trisquel has kernel versions 5.19 through 6.8 also available. You might want to try a later version of the kernel, as a lot of graphics work has been done on the kernel over the years
- Your X230 is 13 years old this year - have you given it a cleaning and changed the cpu thermal paste and cleaned the fuzz out of the internal fans lately? The last time I had some crashes a few years ago, a good cleaning and new thermal paste made a world of difference for my laptop

About a kernel update from 5.15, how would that be done and would it mean reloading the entire OS ?

I'll add my two cents. YouTube has traditionally been the primary reason I often have to restart Pale Moon multiple times throughout the day to cleanup whatever lingering ailment YT afflicts PM with. I can't remember how long I've been doing that, months by now at the very least.

But the past few weeks have been horrendous. YT is crashing PM at least once a day on average, probably more. And YT has likely introduced a memory leak. I've had a single YT tab with no other tabs balloon PM above 8G RAM until it crashed. It's not uncommon for the browser to lock up when that leak starts.

Troubleshooting Info for reference.

I notice there's a new minor version available to my current, so I'll update to that now and see if I notice any improvements over the next few days.
